Job summary

Solvay in Green River, Wyoming is seeking an entry level position in its Surface Utility Department. The role involves operating, maintaining and supporting the infrastructure that keeps the site running safely and efficiently.

You will perform utility and cleanup maintenance, operate equipment, and participate in safety meetings. This on-site, 4-day, 10-hour schedule offers growth and hands-on experience in a chemical plant environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior work in industrial, mechanical/maintenance, or construction/plumbing preferred.
• Must be able to learn and apply all safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide utility and cleanup maintenance support for surface facilities to ensure safe, continuous operations.
• Operate mobile equipment and perform general labor tasks (shoveling, painting, mowing, moving material, cleaning).
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Participate regularly in crew and safety meetings.
