Job summary
Solvay in Green River, WY, seeks a Mine Engineer to provide technical support to underground mining operations, assisting with planning, ventilation modeling, and production optimization. You will work with Safety, Operations, Survey, and Maintenance to drive efficiency and safety across multiple projects.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering is required.
- 0–5 years of mine engineering experience or relevant mining internship preferred.
- Experience with mine planning software, mine ventilation systems, AutoCAD, SAP, and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to obtain Wyoming Mine Foreman and Examiners Papers is required.
Responsibilities
- Develop production plans, mine designs, and ventilation models to support mine planning.
- Lead and support capital projects, coordinating contractors with safety and efficiency.
- Monitor mine performance, conduct field inspections, and provide technical recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with mining health, safety, and environmental regulations while supporting continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Operations, Survey, Maintenance, and Safety to analyze performance and budgets.
