Job summary

Solvay in Green River, Wyoming, is hiring for an entry level role in our Surface Utility Department. You will assist in operating and maintaining site infrastructure, with four-day, ten-hour on-site shifts and safety as a top priority.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Prior work experience in industrial, mechanical/maintenance, and/or construction/plumbing is preferred.
• Must be able to learn and apply all safety requirements.
• Must possess above average written and organize required job activities and willing to work in dusty, hot and/or noisy environments.
• Must have the ability to work with others and be team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Providing utility and cleanup maintenance support for all surface facilities, ensuring safe and continuous operations.
• Operating mobile equipment and performing general labor tasks such as shoveling, painting, mowing, moving material, and cleaning.
• Performing other various duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Participating regularly in crew and safety meetings
