Job summary

Black & Veatch, a 100% employee-owned leader in infrastructure, seeks an Entry Level Structural (Transmission Line) Engineer to contribute to critical projects and grow professionally. Chosen candidates will be located in or relocate to Raleigh, NC, or Orlando, FL, with hybrid work options after onboarding.

You will engage in design guidance, basic calculations, and coordination with project teams while learning our processes and keeping budgets and schedules in mind.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program is required.
• Pre-employment checks may include background, drug screen, and motor vehicle records as applicable by law.

Responsibilities

• Develops familiarity with departmental design guides, standards and policies.
• Contributes to basic engineering deliverables and analyses of limited scope.
• Supports quality program and continuous improvement efforts.
• Coordinates with project leadership and internal clients as needed.
• Shares information with others and assists with business development activities when appropriate.
