Job summary

Jacobs, a global leader in engineering, seeks an Entry Level Structural Engineer to join the Federal Buildings team in Atlanta, GA, with options in Orlando, FL or Knoxville, TN. You will learn to develop structural designs for new multi-building complexes and historic renovations under mentorship.

You will perform calculations, communicate with Designers, and grow in fundamentals of vertical and lateral systems while meeting schedule, budget, and quality requirements through hands-on experience

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering, ABET-accredited.
Engineer in Training (EIT) Certification.
0–2 years relevant work experience.
Hybrid work model requiring 2 days/week in local office/project site.
Must meet minimum internet speeds for project performance.

Responsibilities

Perform increasingly complex calculations and analysis as the structural design develops.
Collaborate with Designers to communicate structural requirements on paper and in the model.
Develop a foundation in fundamentals of structural engineering and system design.
Learn how structural design integrates with other disciplines under mentorship.
Manage your workload to meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
