Job summary

Salas O’Brien in Lakewood, CO is seeking an entry-level Structural Engineer to design and manage industrial and commercial building projects, and to grow within a dynamic team. You will collaborate with multi-discipline engineers on projects across the US, gaining hands-on experience in design for concrete, steel, masonry, and foundations.

Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited degree, are a Registered EIT, and have 0–3 years of consulting structural engineering experience.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
• Registered EIT

Responsibilities

• Full life-cycle project design from kick-off to construction document production and construction oversight
• Lead project teams in Building Design and Non-building structures studios
• Produce engineering documents such as reports, calculations, and drawings that are complete and technically accurate
• Assist clients regarding technical design issues, coordination of document preparation, and submittals
• Utilize design software such as RISA, Enercalc, RAM, Bluebeam, and REVIT to produce construction drawings
