Job summary

Ramboll in the Americas is seeking an entry-level Structural Designer in the Winston-Salem, NC area. You will join our Structural Department to develop building design drawings and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team on municipal, industrial, institutional, and commercial projects.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Architecture or Structural Technology.
Interest in building design and construction administration with a sustainability focus.
Willingness to grow in new market sectors and areas where you lack experience.
Confident communicator with colleagues and clients; able to work independently with direction and support from senior staff.

Responsibilities

Prepare structural drawings and construction documents under supervision using Autodesk Revit.
Adhere to Ramboll drafting standards and client/industry standards.
Assist CAD/BIM coordination and participate in certification programs.
Visit job sites to gain field experience and develop practical engineering skills.
Contribute to safety culture in the office and on site.
Analyze information to plan projects and develop design deliverables for review by engineering staff.
