Job summary

The City of Gainesville is seeking an entry-level Equipment Operator I to operate and perform minor repairs on a variety of street maintenance machinery. Duties include supporting street repairs, loading and hauling materials, and maintaining records with close supervision.

Applicants should have at least two years of related construction work and a high school diploma. A valid driver's license is required, with the ability to obtain Class A or B CDL within six months if requested by supervisor.
