Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a Sterile Processing Technician to join our central sterile team. Under the direction of the central sterile manager, you will clean, inspect, and assemble equipment and supplies to ensure sterile readiness across units and departments.

You will maintain instrument trays and linen packs, employ aseptic techniques, and collaborate to provide clean, sterile supplies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year CSR experience preferred.
• Certification as Central Service Tech or SPD Technician required or pending within 18 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the central sterile manager, cleans, inspects, and assembles equipment and supplies.
• Provides units/departments with clean, sterile supplies.
• Employs aseptic technique in preparing and handling sterile supplies.
• Maintains instrument trays and linen packs.
