Job summary

Doing Steel Fabrication, LLC is seeking an entry-level Machine Operator 1 to operate or learn to operate multiple machines and equipment. The role requires reading blueprints, interpreting specifications, and following verbal and written instructions while adhering to safety standards and Lockout/Tagout protocols.

The candidate should be able to work both independently and in a team, promoting a safe work environment and meeting production demands.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with trucks under three tons and mobile crane equipment.
• Ability to read a tape measure and blueprints, and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Operate or learn to operate multiple machines per production needs.
• Read and follow blueprints and shop drawings to produce parts.
• Maintain safety standards and complete Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Collaborate with teammates and warehouse staff for efficient loading/unloading.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and report issues promptly.
