Job summary

You will support tax matters and manage the IDA Purchasing Card program. The ideal candidate holds a BS in Accounting or related field, with 1+ year of accounting experience.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of accounting/finance/government contracting experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with computerized accounting software.
• Experience with Costpoint is highly desirable.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Strong critical/analytical thinking and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries with documentation for reconciliations.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations focusing on debt, investments, and cash.
• Record daily cash receipts and deposits.
• Assist with insurance and IRS Form 990 tax matters.
• Manage the IDA Purchasing Card program.
