Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join Earth City Branch, 4030 Wedgeway Ct, Earth City, MO. Schedule: Monday – Friday 3:30pm – 12:00am, and rotating Saturdays.

You will prepare laboratory specimens for analysis, identify and label specimens, and perform data entry of patient information in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or GED is required; 1 year of lab, accessioning, production, or warehouse experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Strong data entry and organizational skills.
• Comfortable handling biological specimens.
• Experience with MS Office is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing.
• Unpack and route specimens to staging areas.
• Identify and label specimens accurately.
• Pack and ship specimens to testing facilities.
• Enter patient information data accurately and timely.
• Resolve and document any problem specimens.
