Job summary

Bartlett-Grain is seeking a Process Operator I in Cherryvale, KS to support the soybean processing plant. You will operate and monitor equipment, learn extraction and refining steps, and uphold food safety and GMP standards in a safety-focused environment.

Shifts are 12 hours, four days on/off, with a starting wage of $24 per hour and up. Prior processing plant exposure is preferred; English literacy and teamwork are essential for daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in a processing plant preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Comfort with safety policies and GMP standards.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment and control systems in designated areas.
• Conduct routine sampling and input data into computer systems.
• Support daily plant operations and maintain product quality.
• Assist with preparation, refinery and extraction steps as needed.
• Follow safety policies and participate in continuous improvement.
