Job summary

EnergyLink Sourcing LLC, the centralized supply chain arm of Quanta Services, is seeking an entry-level Sourcing Specialist I to support Transmission, Substation, and Distribution projects. You will assist in bid packages, vendor communications, and evaluating proposals.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field, 0–2 years in sourcing, and familiarity with drawings or BOMs. Up to 10% travel, with strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent work experience.
• 0–2 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or related roles; internship or co-op is a plus.
• Exposure to T&D materials or reading engineering drawings or BOMs is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bid packages for EPC projects and issue them to vendors.
• Review client RFPs and engineering docs to identify sourcing needs.
• Validate material quantities and specs from drawings and BOMs.
• Develop bidder lists and collect vendor prequalification information.
• Track vendor quotes and proposal documents in sourcing systems.
• Participate in bid evaluations and summarize vendor proposals.
• Support negotiations and vendor communications under senior staff guidance.
• Maintain records of sourcing activities and ensure policy compliance.
