Job summary

ENCINA WASTEWATER AUTHORITY seeks a Source Control Inspector to support the pretreatment program under supervision. The role includes professional inspection, site investigations, data analysis, and reporting to protect the POTW and Waters of the United States from toxic discharges.

Incumbents monitor CIUs/SIUs/NSIUs and BMPs for permit compliance, enforce the Encina Pretreatment Ordinance and CFRs, and may advance with CWEA CWEA certification.

Qualifications

• Professional inspection duties and analytical reporting.
• Ability to monitor CIUs, SIUs, NSIUs, and BMPs for permit compliance.
• Ability to interpret CFR requirements and enforcement procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform professional inspection duties and investigations.
• Monitor and track CIUs, SIUs, NSIUs, and BMPs for compliance with discharge permits and CFRs.
• Enforce Encina Pretreatment Ordinance and Enforcement Response Plan.
• Assist with training and provide guidance to lower-level staff.
