Job summary

Baptist Health Princeton Hospital seeks a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to provide quality patient care by performing ultrasound imaging for interpretation.

You will work closely with radiologists, applying professional judgment while ensuring precise documentation, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. The role supports QA activities and staff training.

This position requires ARDMS eligibility and ongoing credential maintenance with BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
• Must be registered through ARDMS within twelve (12) months of hire.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certificate.
• Maintains ARDMS physics registry and one ARDMS registry.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Radiologist to perform diagnostic sonographic exams.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Assesses the patient’s physical condition and age specific needs.
• Positions patient and equipment to achieve high quality images for interpretation.
• Ensures safety and adherence to quality control standards.

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of sonography

RDMS registration through ARDMS

Maintains BLS/Healthcare Provider certificate

Must be ARDMS registered within 12 months of hire
