Baptist Health Brookwood Hospital seeks a qualified Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to provide high-quality imaging and interpretation support in collaboration with Radiology. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, precise imaging, and safe operation of ultrasound equipment.

Candidates should have ARDMS certification/eligibility, a current BLS certification, and graduation from an accredited sonography program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of sonography.
• ARDMS eligibility guidelines.
• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certificate.
• Must be registered through ARDMS within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Works closely with Radiologist to perform diagnostic sonographic exams.
• Delivers appropriate care while recognizing patient conditions and ensuring successful completion of procedures.
• Assesses diagnostic images for technical quality and proper annotation.
• Maintains compliance with Baptist Health policies and procedures.
• Assists in supervision of student sonographers and training of new sonographers.
