Job summary

Tekberry is seeking a Software Engineer to work onsite in Painted Post, NY. This entry level role will develop software for measurement, machine vision, data collection and reporting across Corning divisions.

You will design, implement and debug high-quality software, interfacing sensors, cameras and data streams. Strong fundamentals in CS plus knowledge of C#/Python/C++/Java and web frameworks are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 0-3 years' development experience in a multi-discipline engineering team.
• Object oriented software analysis and design.
• Proficiency in C#, Python, C++, Java, MATLAB, Web Services, Micro Services.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and debug high-quality software systems for manufacturing.
• Interface sensors, motion, lighting, cameras and process data.
• Resolve problems and implement improvements in software.
• Apply software development practices for timely project completion.
