Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Measured Systems Software Engineer for an on-site, 12-month assignment in Corning, NY. The role focuses on C#/.NET software development for industrial measurement and machine vision systems, with hardware integration and production deployment.

The ideal candidate will work hands-on with imaging hardware and vision systems, contribute to software builds and deployments, and help implement AI-assisted development practices while documenting every step and training

Qualifications

• Experience developing software in C# for production use.
• Experience integrating SW with hardware systems (inspection/metrology, imaging).
• Willingness to travel domestically for deployments.
• Bachelor’s degree required; 3–5 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain C#/.NET software for industrial measurement and machine vision systems.
• Support software communication, configuration, and data handling across distributed applications.
• Assist deployment through build, release, and system integration activities.
• Collaborate on AI-assisted software development tools and practices.
• Create technical documentation and train personnel.
• Provide remote and onsite troubleshooting.
