Job summary

NTT DATA AIVista, Inc. is hiring a Software Engineer for the Bay Area to develop enterprise-grade AI platform features. You will join requirement sessions, translate customer needs into designs, implement code, and see it run in customer environments with mentor guidance.

You will learn how to build, deploy, and operate enterprise software, collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions in Palo Alto. Hybrid work is available with room to grow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• Hands-on software experience through internships, research, work, or substantial personal projects.
• Demonstrated CS fundamentals in data structures & algorithms, OS, networking, and databases.
• Proficiency in Python or another modern language; ability to write reliable code.
• Strong debugging, testing habits and clear written/verbal communication.
• Interest in working directly with customers (some travel required).

Responsibilities

• Build platform features - design, implement, test services, APIs, and integrations.
• Work directly with customers - participate in requirement sessions and demos, assist with integrations.
• Turn requirements into software - write short designs and deliver against requirements.
• Own quality - write well-tested, readable code and apply production practices.
• Learn fast - pick up new systems, languages, and customer domains as needed.
