Job summary

Axis Energy Services, LLC. is seeking an entry-level Snubbing Assistant to support snubbing unit operations at the well site. You will assist with rig up/down, operate and maintain equipment, and work in active oilfield environments under supervision.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, valid driver's license, willingness to travel up to ~60%, and the ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 14/7 rotation. Safety and teamwork are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow safety procedures and job instructions.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support snubbing operations.
• Basic math, problem-solving, and written communication skills required.
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Snubbing Operator with snubbing functions to support safe operations.
• Operate or assist with snubbing units and pressure-control equipment per training.
• Support equipment prep, transport readiness, rig up, snubbing service operations, and rig down.
• Connect hydraulic hoses and assist with startup, pump operation, and controls verification.
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of equipment and tools.
• Complete pre-job and post-job inspections and documentation.
• Follow safety policies and participate in safety meetings.
• Communicate instructions, status, hazards, and needs to Operator and supervisor.
• Assist with job site operations and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• May work outside normal hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and travel.
