Job summary

KLX Energy Services LLC in Odessa, TX is seeking a Snubbing Supervisor to oversee the snubbing service line at the well site and coordinate equipment assembly, pre/post inspections, and crew activities. This role emphasizes safety, quality service, and customer satisfaction in a field environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of related experience, a Class A CDL (hazardous materials endorsement preferred), and strong computer and reporting skills to support efficient operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/G.E.D or equivalent.
• 2-3 years related experience required.
• Valid Driver’s License, Class A CDL preferred, with hazardous material endorsement.
• Advanced computer skills are preferred; proficient with Microsoft Outlook and Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct the operatives of the Snubbing units and associated equipment without supervision.
• Must have developed necessary skills within the service line and grasp a general understanding of other service functions.
• Must be fully trained in operating all associated pressure control equipment (Fluid Pump, Nitrogen equipment).
• Directs the pre-job and post-job inspections and testing of the snubbing units, and ensuring that all pre and post job inspection forms are completed.
• Ensures that the maintenance and general upkeep of the snubbing units and related equipment are handled by the operators and assistants.
• Knowledge of snubbing unit operations, including but not limited to correctly connecting hydraulic hoses, equipment startup, engaging of prime mover and hydraulic pumps.
• Has an active and lead role in mentoring the snubbing operators and assistants.
• Performs and assumes other duties and responsibilities as may be required by immediate supervisor.
• Delegates certain job tasks to the Snubbing assistants and operators during job operation.
• All other job duties as assigned.
