Job summary

Monogram Foods in Chandler, MN is seeking a full-time 3rd shift Smokehouse Operator to process raw product into cooked product. You will stand up to 10 hours, lift 30–70 pounds, and manage equipment with attention to safety and yield.

You must be able to read and write English, work overtime as needed, and function in a team-based environment while following HACCP standards and company procedures to ensure product quality and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Punctual and good attendance.
• Good communication, math, read and writing skills.
• Able to complete Quality, Safety training.
• Able to work at a fast pace, repetitive and work environment.
• Ability to work in a team environment and a diverse workforce.
• Must be flexible and able to work overtime and weekends as needed.
• MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and clean work area in the smokehouse.
• Ensure meat does not become contaminated.
• Check racks to ensure proper spacing and hanging before smoking.
• Monitor equipment and report mechanical issues.
• Fill out required paperwork accurately and timely.
• Support management decisions and promote a productive environment.
• Follow HACCP in the department.
• Aim for best quality product and proper yields.
• Follow pre-planned smoke schedules.
• Adapt to changes and seek efficiency improvements.
