Job summary

Monogram Foods in Chandler, MN is seeking an experienced Production Quality Technician to monitor product SKUs, recommend improvements with R&D, and enforce GMPs and HACCP on the production floor.

The role includes inspecting raw materials and finished products, conducting pre-operational inspections, overseeing label checks and calibration tasks, and supporting health and safety procedures in a fast-paced, temperature-controlled environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 6 months of quality or related experience required.
• Production, manufacturing, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Proficient knowledge of USDA/FDA regulations, 3rdparty audits, GMP’s, SSOP’s, HACCP, BRC and process control.
• Intermediate level computer skills – excel, word, PowerPoint.
• Verbal and written English communication skills.
• Be knowledgeable of and follow the safety procedures and policies as outlined by Monogram Foods.
• Be knowledgeable of safe food handling practices, HACCP, and quality control procedures in your department.
• MUST BE 18 YEARS OR OLDER

Responsibilities

• Monitor existing product SKU's and directly recommend/leads development improvements with R&D.
• Monitor quality of incoming raw materials and finished products, including organoleptic evaluations.
• Enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
• Complete Pre-operational Inspections each morning and evening including swabs weekly.
• Monitor general upkeep of production area.
• Monitor verifications for CCP's on the floor.
• Perform Specification Testing on certain incoming raw materials as needed.
• Monitor daily label checks, HACCP, operational, weekly thermometer checks, weekly temp tags and Calibration requirements.

Level: Experienced Job Location: Chandler MN - Chandler, MN 56122 Position Type: Full Time Salary Range: $19.96 - $21.29 Hourly Job Shift: 1st Shift1ST SHIFT

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor existing product SKU's and directly recommend/leads development improvements with R&D.

Work Environment

• Production areas have moderate to loud noise levels.
• Production areas are temperature controlled, which may include cold or hot environments.
• You may be required to work overtime, which may include Saturdays, or the possibility of working in another department as needed.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to work within temperature-controlled environments (Heat/Cold)
• Walk on slippery wet surfaces.
• Hand/eye coordination.
• Handling (holding, grasping).
• Seeing/depth perception.
• Walk/stand 100% of shift.
• Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Occasionally required to reach at/or above shoulder level.
• Occasionally lift and/or carry loads of up to 50 lbs.
• Repetitive motions and movements throughout the scheduled shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
