Job summary

River City Casino & Hotel is hiring a Slot Technician. Starting pay is $20.00 per hour, based on experience. Swing shift from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.

You will repair, maintain, and ensure the proper operation of slot machines, with responsibilities including diagnosing malfunctions, replacing parts, and keeping logs. Qualifications

• General understanding of Computers.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; fluent in English.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Ability to work with guests, staff, and colleagues at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Repair, maintenance, and general operating condition of slot machines.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electronic slot machine malfunctions with minimal guidance.
• Replace parts and circuit boards; may repair circuit boards with assistance.
• Utilize shop machines to fabricate standard parts.
• Maintain slot machine inspection, installation, and removal processes.
• Maintain player-tracking system and EZ Pay equipment.
• Complete all regulatory and company logs (e.g., meter logs, parts logs).
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Maintain confidentiality in all company matters.

As a Slot Technician, you will:

Pay: Starting at $20.00 based on experience | Shift: Swing:10:00pm - 6:00am

• Adheres to established departmental and property policies and procedures regarding guest service standards.
• Responsible for the repair, maintenance, and general operating condition of slot machines.
• Diagnoses and repairs mechanical and electronic slot machine malfunctions with minimal guidance or assistance.
• Replaces parts and circuit boards which have caused malfunctions; may repair some circuit boards, with assistance.
• Utilizes shop machines to fabricate standard or routine parts.
• Maintains moderate skill levels in mechanical and electronic functions, with possible advanced skills in either.
• Responsible for the inspection, installation, and removal of slot machines.
• Maintains player-tracking system and EZ Pay equipment.
• Responsible for completing all regulatory and company operational logs/forms correctly (e.g., slot machine meter logs, parts logs, conversion forms, etc.).
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in all company matters.
