Job summary

KBR Mission Technology Solutions is seeking a Jr. Signal Processing Engineer to collaborate across teams in the design and research of interfaces for integrated systems. You will apply MATLAB-based tools to analyze, model, and validate mission-critical components, supporting decision-making with clear technical results.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain CI Polygraph.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0–3 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops applicable).
• Experience with MATLAB signal processing capabilities.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Self-starter who can partner with multiple teammates.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and research interfaces for integrated subsystems.
• Provide functional analysis to validate mission requirements and system performance.
• Advise customers with results to inform critical decisions.
• Develop MATLAB-based tools to compute metrics like SNR and optical blur.
• Organize results in databases, software, and slide decks for stakeholders.
• Model electro-optical system components and run MATLAB simulations.
• Coordinate engineering functions in design, installation, testing and integration.
• Prepare technical reports and proposals; liaise across teams.
