Job summary

Beach Lake Sprinkler Fire Protection Services is seeking an Entry Level Security Technician to join the Beach Lake, PA team. You will support security and low-voltage technicians with installation, wiring, and setup of security systems, gaining hands-on field experience in a fast-paced construction environment.

Ideal candidates show interest in security, a willingness to learn, and basic mechanical/electrical aptitude. A driver’s license is preferred to support job-site travel.

Responsibilities

Due to continued growth, we are looking to add aEntry Level Security Technician to ourBeach Lake, PAteam. In this role, you will support our security and low-voltage technicians with the installation, wiring, and setup of security systems, assisting with hands‑on field work and job site preparation. Success in this role requires a strong willingness to learn, basic mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team in a fast‑paced field environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help set up equipment, prepare the job site, and pull materials.

• Follow instructions and learn to read drawings and wiring diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Some technical, trade, or relevant coursework.
• Experience with basic tools and hand tools.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and handle materials, tools, and equipment throughout the workday.
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and working in tight or elevated spaces.
• Work is performed at active job sites and construction environments, with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and outdoor conditions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and follow all site safety requirements.

The wage for this role is $20 to $24 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
