Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is hiring for multiple entry-level production labor positions at our Noti, Oregon sawmill. The role offers hands-on training, opportunities to learn across plant operations, and a path to other tasks within the facility.

Starting pay is $23.53 per hour with benefits and overtime opportunities. We value individuals with a willingness to learn, a good work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1-year recent, related work history with verifiable references required; mill experience preferred
• All applicants must be at least age 18

Responsibilities

• Find yourself on a new career path in an entry-level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our sawmill
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts
• Stack and pile lumber
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times
