Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is hiring entry-level production labor at our Noti, Oregon sawmill. This position offers hands-on learning across multiple plant stations, with opportunities to move into production, equipment maintenance, or supervision as you gain experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of related work history, verifiable references, and must be 18 or older. The job includes shifts, overtime, and a comprehensive benefits package including health, retirement, and life

• 1-year recent, related work history with verifiable references required, mill experience preferred
• All applicants must be at least age 18

Responsibilities

• Find yourself on a new career path in an entry-level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our sawmill
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts
• Stack and pile lumber
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times
