Job summary

Sierra Pacific Industries is hiring for multiple entry-level production labor positions at our sawmill in Noti, Oregon. This role offers a path to learn across tasks within the plant, including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision.

The work is fast-paced and can be demanding at times, with shifts, overtime, and weekend work during busy production periods. We provide training and promote from within, plus excellent low-cost health benefits and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 1-year recent, related work history with verifiable references required, mill experience preferred
• All applicants must be at least age 18

Responsibilities

• Find yourself on a new career path in an entry-level production labor position with opportunity to learn and explore many jobs within the plant site including production, equipment maintenance, and supervision
• Learn to fill in on various machine stations within our sawmill
• Shovel, rake, and sweep wood byproducts
• Stack and pile lumber
• The work is fast-paced and can, at times, be demanding
• Repetitive lifting and working in both hot and cold work environments
• Work may consist of various shifts, with some overtime and weekend work during busy production times
