Job summary

Hampton Lumber's Randle Division in the United States is hiring for an Entry Level - Operator 1 to keep the facility clean and safe. The role includes cross training to operate advanced production equipment and the wage starts at 24.04 USD per hour, with a yearly base of about 50,003 USD before overtime and bonuses.

Bonuses are possible and a $1,500 hiring bonus is included. The company offers apprenticeship paths toward Journeyman status with paid training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age and able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Completion of high-school or equivalent preferred but not required.
• Sawmill experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to safely work at a moderate to fast pace.
• Lifting is 20-30 pounds on a continuous basis.
• Must be willing to learn new skills
• Be a team player and self-starter
• Must be willing to work day or night shift

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and comply with all safety policies and procedures
• General facility clean up including picking up slabs, sticks, sawdust, chips, and other wood debris off lower mill floors
• Assist with blow down and dust mitigation
• Apply good housekeeping standards to your work area or any area you observe
