Job summary

ADP, Inc. in Frederick, MD is hiring an entry-level Saw Operator to join our machine shop team. This full-time role offers hands-on training and opportunities to develop real shop skills as you begin a trade.

No advanced experience required—training will be provided. You will learn to load/unload a bandsaw, cut materials to size, deburr parts, and support shop operations while maintaining reliability and safety.

Qualifications

• Basic ability to read a tape measure.
• Ability to follow instructions and read basic drawings.
• Comfortable working with hands and tools.
• Willingness to learn machine shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload an automatic bandsaw.
• Cut bar stock and tubing to required lengths.
• Prepare raw materials for production use.
• Deburr parts using a vertical sander.
• Move and organize materials throughout the shop.
• Operate a stationary drill press.
• Assist with other shop tasks as needed.
