Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks an Associate Contract Administrator (Level 1) to join the Contract Set Up Group in Defense Systems Sector. This role supports contract setup activities across Northridge, CA; Plymouth, MN; and Mesa, AZ, with travel as needed.

The candidate will interpret contracts, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure accurate SAP setups while preventing financial reporting issues. Strong Excel skills and government contracting knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with no experience.
Associate’s degree with 4 years of government contracting experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel; capable of large data sets, pivots, charts, and graphs.

Responsibilities

Interpret contract and enter into SAP Contract Setup Form.
Collaborate with stakeholders on contract and setup requirements.
Investigate and resolve billing labor category errors affecting reporting.
Lead SAP Setup kickoff meetings with contracts and stakeholders.
Communicate clearly to address setup questions and avoid errors.
Provide recommendations to prevent issues with financial reporting and invoicing.
Update SAP S/4HANA with negotiated contract parameters.
Support data requests from programs, customers, and management.
