Job summary

Acuren is hiring an entry-level Rope Access Tech I to perform duties safely under supervision in Beaumont, TX and surrounding communities. You will inspect equipment, assist in setting up rope systems, and help with basic rescue operations while maintaining required certifications.

Ideal candidates are physically capable, follow procedures, and possess a willingness to learn and grow within a team environment. Travel and extended hours may be required.

Qualifications

• IRATA/SPRAT Level 1 certification required with competency in theory, equipment, rigging and rescue.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Ability to operate safely at heights and follow procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties under supervision of Rope Access Supervisor or Level II/III technician.
• Inspect equipment and systems for safety and compliance before use.
• Assist in setting up rope access equipment as directed by Lead RAT.
• Identify hazards and report unsafe conditions promptly.
• Record inspection results as directed by Lead RAT.
• Safely ascend/descend and maneuver on ropes using standard techniques.
• Assist in basic rescue operations under supervision.
• Maintain IRATA/SPRAT certifications and training records.
• Support other technicians as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
