Garver is seeking an entry-level Roadway Project Engineer to join our Transportation Team in Franklin, TN. Ideal candidates hold an ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree, are on track for EIT/EI within a year, and possess strong communication and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited Civil Engineering degree is required.
• EIT or EI certification, or ability to obtain within 12 months of employment.
• Strong communication skills are essential for collaboration and client interaction.
• Proficiency with MS Office is expected for reporting and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and creation of construction documents for transportation projects.
• Develop roadway design components: typical sections, geometry, drainage, erosion control, safety, and MOT.
• Prepare cost estimates, quantities, specs, and drafting tasks for set of construction documents.
• Support training/mentoring of junior engineers and coordinate tasks.
