Egis is seeking an entry-level Roadway Engineer in PA to design and support transportation infrastructure, including freeways and interchanges. You will collaborate with a project team, perform designs, and contribute to plans, specifications, and cost estimates.

Requirements include a B.S. in Civil Engineering, 0–3 years of roadway design experience, strong communication and detail orientation, and experience with MicroStation/AutoCAD. OpenRoads Designer is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of B.S. in Civil Engineering.
• EIT certification is a plus.
• 0 to 3 years of roadway design experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experienced utilizing MicroStation/AutoCAD software.
• Experience with OpenRoads Designer a plus.
• Experience in roadway design on PennDOT and/or Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission Projects is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Apply knowledge of engineering to assist in designing freeways, interchanges, roadways, streets, and other transportation infrastructure.
• Perform engineering calculations from preliminary to final design.
• Develop plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates with the project team.
• Communicate clearly through drawings, documents, reports, and verbal exchanges.
• Coordinate plan reviews to ensure accuracy and quality of work.
• May conduct site investigations and assist project engineers and managers as needed.
