Job summary

Six Flags Corp is seeking a ride maintenance technician to support the safe operation of rides and attractions at our Vallejo park. You will inspect, repair, and troubleshoot complex systems with supervision, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specs and safety requirements.

The role requires the ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, and to operate park vehicles and hand tools.

Qualifications

• 0–1 years of related experience.
• Proficient in two or more trades: mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, automotive, welding/fabrication, or small engine repair.
• Will work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to troubleshoot safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate vehicles (forklifts, golf carts, cars, trucks).

Responsibilities

• Maintain, erect, repair, and troubleshoot rides and attractions per manufacturer specifications and with supervision.
• Perform daily inspections and maintenance for safe operation and report hazards to management or engineering.
• Maintain OSHA safety standards and ride safety policies.
• Conduct winterization and winter maintenance of ride units and stations.
• Ensure rides are clean and compliant with specs and guest expectations.
• Keep records and documentation updated daily and accessible.
• Perform all other duties as required.
