Job summary

Altium Packaging in Sparta, Tennessee is seeking a Machine Operator, RHSB. This entry level production operator role focuses on running and supporting Reheat Stretch Blow (RHSB) machines, packing, inspecting, labeling, and preparing bottles for shipment while working safely and following quality standards.

You will rotate between machines, select the correct box size, assemble boxes, apply labels, scan items, and report any defects to the Processor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of packing or machine operation experience preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong focus on safety and quality.
• Basic computer and scanning skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate and work around production equipment.
• Wear required PPE at all times.
• Rotate between machines and packing styles as needed.
• Select the correct box sizes for each product run.
• Assemble boxes using a tape gun and label correctly.
• Scan required items accurately and report defects to the Processor.
• Keep workstation clean and restock supplies; perform overtime as needed.
