Amentum's Dahlgren, VA team is seeking a Junior RF Engineering Technician to support Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) testing at NSWCDD. You will operate and maintain RF/test equipment, ensuring safety and reliability during evaluation in hostile electromagnetic environments.

The role requires up to 10% travel, collaboration with a cross-functional team, and direct customer interface. Amentum emphasizes equal opportunity employment and compliance with applicable laws.

Qualifications

• One (1) year of general experience in electronics, physics, or RF systems.
• Knowledge of using network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and TDRs.
• Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain equipment necessary to support Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) testing/certification.
• Support DoD and non-DoD developmental and operational systems testing.
• Travel up to 10% and interface with customers; work as part of a team for various test events.
