Amentum is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior RF Engineering Technician to join our team in Dahlgren, VA, supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Electromagnetic Effects Division. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to critical Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) testing and certification of both DoD and non-DoD developmental and operational weapon and electronic systems. Your work will play a vital role in ensuring that these systems meet E3 design specifications and function effectively and safely in their intended electromagnetic environments. This position offers opportunities for hands‑on technical work, collaborative team efforts, and direct customer engagement. Travel is required up to 10% of the time, and on-the-job mentoring will be provided to support your professional growth and development.

Essential Responsibilities

Minimum Requirements

• Knowledge of using one or more of the following: network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, multimeters, and Time Domain Reflectometers (TDRs).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Secret Government Clearance. US Citizenship is required for this clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
• On-the-job mentoring is provided.

Compensation

US: $24.68 per hour.
