Electro Magnetic Applications, Inc. (EMA) in Lakewood, CO seeks an Entry-Level RF Engineer to support RF/antenna modeling, EMC evaluations, and field testing for aerospace and defense customers.

You will work on real hardware and physics from month one, collaborating with senior engineers, and developing in a mentorship-driven environment. A degree in Electrical Engineering is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with RF/microwave coursework or research.
• Foundational understanding of RF concepts: S-parameters, Smith charts, transmission lines, EM wave propagation.
• Exposure to EM simulation tools via coursework, research, or internships.
• Familiarity with Python or MATLAB for analysis and scripting.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% for field testing.
• Must qualify as a U.S. Person under ITAR due to defense-related work.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.

Responsabilités

• Support RF/antenna modeling and simulation.
• Assist with EMC, RF susceptibility, and antenna pattern testing in lab and field.
• Analyze test data and simulation results; prepare technical reports for customers.
• Collaborate with senior RF, EMC, and systems engineers on defense/aerospace programs.
• Contribute to proposal content as experience grows.
• Participate in on-the-job training and mentorship from senior staff.
