Goodyear Commercial Tire & Service Centers is hiring in San Antonio for a Retread Technician role. You will support the retread process by inspecting tires, buffing casings, removing embedded items, and applying new tread. The job involves curing and final quality checks to ensure safe, road-ready tires.

Training is provided; no prior experience required. The position offers starting pay of $18.00–$22.00 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and tire discounts, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
• Basic Computer Skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect tires to assess if they can be retread.
• Buff the casing to remove worn tread.
• Remove embedded objects, rust, and repair the casing.
• Apply patch or cement and fit new tread.
• Cure the tire to set the retread material.
• Perform final inspection for safety and quality.
