Job summary

Family Dollar seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in Picayune, MS. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, and help with stocking and merchandising while maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to lift items and stand for long periods. This is a part-time position with opportunities for advancement and team support.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and coworkers.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
