Job summary

Family Dollar in Liberty, Mississippi is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You'll assist customers, manage sales transactions at the register, stock shelves, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and safe.

The role requires a high school diploma (or equivalent), strong customer service, and good communication. This is a part-time position with an equal opportunity employer policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks (walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, etc.).
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms and floors.
