Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our retail team in Irmo, SC. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, safe store environment.

This part-time role emphasizes friendly service, merchandise upkeep, and teamwork in a fast-paced setting. Experience in retail or customer service is preferred; the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store customer service experience highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Perform general cleaning and restocking tasks in bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
