Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking a Technician/Laborer to support water and fire mitigation projects at commercial properties. You will learn to lead field crews, supervise tasks, and ensure safety and quality while mentoring less experienced technicians.

No prior experience is required; training is provided. Ideal candidates are dependable, organized, and ready to invest in a hands-on career in disaster restoration and property maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening.
• Physical stamina.
• Flexible availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks at various job sites including water/fire/smoke damage and mold remediation as directed.
• Adhere to safety standards for materials removal.
• Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and team members.
• Accurately document work using mobile software and job tracking systems as well as forms.
• Operate restoration tools and equipment with care.
• Maintain organized job sites and a professional company image.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Technician/Laborer Key Responsibilities:

• Perform restoration and cleanup tasks at various job sites including water/fire/smoke damage and mold remediation repair as directed. Tasks include water extraction, content pack-out, removing/disposing of non-salvageable materials, debris removal, cleanup, detail cleaning, light construction and demolition.
• Adhere to safety standards for materials removal.
• Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and team members.
• Accurately document work, including using mobile software and job tracking systems as well as physical forms.
• Operate restoration tools and equipment with care.
• Maintain organized job sites and a professional company image.
• Work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.
