UK St. Claire is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to administer care for cardio-pulmonary deficiencies and perform sleep testing as prescribed.

You will implement interventions to support respiratory and sleep health and document activities in the EMR, collaborating with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes. The role requires coordinating with physicians and clinical directors, maintaining equipment, and ensuring safety during bronchoscopy procedures when assigned to Sleep Lab.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent and vocational/technical training from an accredited Respiratory program.
• 0–2 years of experience in a healthcare, clinical setting, or related area. Paid experience preferred.
• Certifications: CRT, BLS; ACLS/PALS depending on area.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out routine and advanced respiratory therapies as ordered by physician (oxygen, aerosol, spirometry, ventilation, airway management).
• Collect, analyze, and integrate patient data to assess condition and determine treatment/testing parameters.
• Prepare, calibrate, and maintain therapy and diagnostic equipment; ensure data accuracy.
