Job summary

Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch is seeking a Residential Treatment Specialist I (RTS I) in Minot, ND. The role focuses on providing a safe, structured environment for youth aged 5-17, building relationships, teaching life and social skills, and supporting treatment goals in a trauma-informed setting.

You will join a caring team with opportunities for professional development and a clear pathway to RTS II and RTS III, while embracing a culture of purpose, care, and learning.

Qualifications

• Must be 19 or older at the time of application.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Criminal background check including child abuse and neglect background is required.
• Preferred: Insurable motor vehicle driving record.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, trusting relationships with youth to help them reach goals.
• Coach and model healthy behaviors each day.
• Supervise youth in residential and community settings, ensuring safety.
• Help youth develop life skills and confidence to succeed.
• Document observations and progress to support treatment.
