Dakota Boys and Girls Ranch in Fargo, ND is seeking compassionate Residential Treatment Specialists I to provide a safe, supportive and structured environment for youth ages 12-17. In this hands-on role you will help youth develop life skills, support therapy goals, supervise daily routines, and document progress.

We offer starting wage of $20/hour plus benefits, with part-time and full-time shifts, weekend rotations, and flexible scheduling for part-time staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older at time of application.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must pass a criminal background check, including child abuse and neglect.
• Preferred: An insurable motor vehicle driving record.
• Post-secondary studies in social science, psychology, behavioral health, or human service-related fields are preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, supportive, and structured environment for youth ages 12-17.
• Build positive relationships with youth and teach life and social skills.
• Encourage healthy behaviors and help youth work toward treatment goals.
• Lead activities, support therapy goals, and document progress.
• Communicate with families and team members in a trauma-informed setting.
