Column is seeking a detail-oriented Check Reconciliation Specialist to join our Finance Operations team. This is an entry-level role based remotely in the U.S.

You will match incoming check payments from our Chase lockbox against Stripe invoices and help improve payment processes. You'll work with the Support team on customer communications and complex payment issues, aiming for accurate, audit-ready records and timely resolution.

Qualificações

• Entry-level role in Finance Operations requiring meticulous attention to payment details.
• Ability to reconcile check payments with Stripe invoices and support systems.
• Excellent written communication for customer and Support team coordination.

Responsabilidades

• Process and match Chase lockbox checks to Stripe invoices.
• Reconcile daily lockbox deposits and payment batches for accurate application.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies (short/overpayments/duplications).
• Apply refunds or credits for overpayments or misapplied amounts.
• Improve processes to reduce manual rework and recurring errors.
